Welcome back to the blog! We cannot believe it’s March already, since we last chatted with you on the blog our website has been updated so you can now make transfers online as well as the app. The website is just as simple as the app to use so you won’t need long to work it out but we’ve put together a how to guide so you can get to know your account and what it does for you. This post is a TransferHome Account Guide but that doesn’t mean it’s hard to figure out, we just want to make sure we provide you with all the answers of where to find things you might need.
To begin you’ll need an account so if you have one skip this section but if you don’t then sign-up to TransferHome using your mobile number, you’ll receive a unique PIN via SMS that you’ll use when you log in (don’t worry about forgetting it, we’ll send it to you each time you sign in). Once you’ve signed in and are on your dashboard the first thing you’ll see is an overview of your account. You’ll find your Transfer Credit History, your Top Up Balance History, your Favourites and all History.
Once you’ve signed in and are on your dashboard the first thing you’ll see is an overview of your account, this is where the TransferHome Account Guide begins! First, you’ll find your Transfer Credit History which is a list of all previous transfers including the recipient, credit amount and date. Your Top Up Balance History which shows the amount you’ve topped up, which payment method you used and the date of top-up.
Along the top menu you can see more of what information your account shows you, keep reading to find out how to use your account to find these details.
Next to Account Overview on your dashboard where you’ll find the ‘Transfer Credit’ menu. It’s simple to use, enter the number you want to send credit to and click the arrow, you’ll then see a selection of amounts that you can choose from. Once you’ve selected the amount you wish to transfer you’ll be taken to an Order Summary page, you can then confirm if the number and transfer amount is correct. When everything is confirmed select your payment method, you can use your Balance, Credit/Debit card or PayPal account.
The next section is Top Up Balance is where you can boost your balance, your balance can be used to pay for transfers you’re making. Once you’ve chosen a Top-Up amount you can select your preferred payment method either Credit/Debit card or PayPal.
On the Favourites you can view the contacts you frequently transfer credit to as well as the ones you’ve manually added to your list, adding contacts to your favourites makes transferring pay-as-you-go credit to them even quicker. You can still add to your contacts when viewing your account on the TransferHome website, just select ‘Add Contact’.
Once you’ve selected ‘Add Contact’ all you need to do is enter your selected contacts details and they’ll be added to your Favourites list instantly.
